Family party for Chase

We had a family dinner and birthday party for Chase while Doug's parents were in town. You would have thought it was Christmas with the amount of presents he got! We had a nice dinner down at GG's house in Petaluma. The next day Doug's parents joined us at church where the kids got to dress up for Halloween festivities.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch as a family a couple weeks ago. Our friend Carolyn joined us with Chase's buddy Kyle. We had fun seeing the animals on the farm. Chase got to feed a lamb and a calf named Norman.

Today we took family pictures with my Bunko friend, Kristina. She put a couple pictures on her blog, she calls it a teaser, so we could see a few from today. We'll get to see all of them in a couple of weeks. I love the one of the boys together.

Cameron is 6 months!

Actually, he's about six and a half months, but his doctor's appointment was today. He weighed in at 21 lbs, 4 oz and was 26" long, he's short and FAT! My grandma calls him a tub of butter, too cute. He has his two bottom teeth now and is sitting well. He can roll over, but doesn't do it often (he's too big!). More proof of how he and his brother are different - at his shots today he barely cried and wouldn't nurse right afterwards. Chase on the other hand was completely traumatized by the shots and nursed for comfort after each time he had them. They're just two different boys! When Cameron is grumpy often Chase is the only one who can make him smile. They really love each other already. Since I never had a sibling watching this interaction is really special to me. I didn't post pictures from before because our mac is having some problems, so I'm updating the blog on our old dinosaur computer. I'm going to post some pics from our friends Scott and Claudette's wedding, our trip to the Harvest Fair and our recent trip to the pumpkin patch.

August and September have been busy months for us. Cameron is a HUGE baby, he's wearing Chase's 12 month clothes and he's not even 6 months yet. It's amazing to watch him grow and see how different he is from his brother. Chase was rolling all over the place by now but not sitting up. Cameron is sitting really well on his own now, but doesn't roll much. He's almost rolled over from his front to his back. This is all fine with me, the less mobile the better in my opinion! Chase also got a tooth when he turned 6 months and I don't think Cam is going to get one in a week. He's chewing on everything and drooling a lot, but his gums aren't swollen.

In August we had fun at the fair, went to Reno for my Body Shop conference and then we went to Fresno to see family, meet our new niece, Abbey, and have some good family time. I'll post some pictures from recent events.

Quick Update

Hi everyone! Sorry it's been forever. Just a quick update on exciting Dunbar news. Chase is now pretty much potty trained, woo hoo! Cameron started eating solid foods the other day. Just cereals now, but he loved it. Chase is my genius baby, he's always been smart but now he's learning to spell, it's pretty amazing to watch. He started in the 3 year old class at preschool this week. I'll post some pictures soon.
